JAOR organized networking event for Youth in entrepreneurship. The first “Networking ” by the organization was titled “Youth In Entrepreneurship” and held on the 28th Feb in Nairobi ,Kenya. The event was aimed creating a platform for quality conversations around youth in entrepreneurship.
Hosted by on Anisa Omar, vice Treasurer at JAOR. The event had a lineup of amazing and enthusiastic keynote speaker who took to stage to share the insight to their ups and down in their entrepreneurial journey as well as giving tips to new entrepreneurs.
Farhia Jama, founder and senior managing partner at Holby Training solution, our first keynote speaker took to stage first. Not only did she share how she started developing entrepreneurial mindset as early as 18 years old, engaging in bakery and catering, she also shed a light on how entrepreneurship is key to in fostering long term sustainability. Ms Jama, made inference to Game theory and how upcoming entrepreneurs should develop infinite mindset, aligned with infinite play, will build stronger, more innovative, inspiring, resilient organizations,
Branding Expert, Meshack Ochieng was our second keynote speaker. Mr Ochieng delved into how branding is very essential in success of a business as people tend to develop loyalty towards brands , “Brands begets Sales”. He went ahead to explain that branding adds value to products or services, since they hold more power in one’s prospective customers.
Our final keynote speaker was Khadija Osman , founder of ChaiTea. Ms Osman gave us an insight of how her entrepreneurial journey was marred with ups and down, which she says attributed to her of resilient mentality and drive to build huge success. Her core message was that entrepreneurs need to create real and meaningful value for their clients. Making your customer a hero and keeping a focus on relationship is key.
